The annual election failed to obtain the 259 ballots necessary. In order to maintain the HOA until the next election, those board members who have agreed to stay on have appointed new officers and are appointing new members to replace those who have stepped down.
A development has been proposed on the open land at 36th and Tecumseh. Developers recently answered questions and provided a conceptual drawing of their plans. Visit the 36th Development page for details.
Traffic lights are being installed along Tecumseh Road at the intersections of 36th Avenue, Interstate Drive, and the I-35 northbound on/off ramp. Construction will begin on February 28th and continue through the end of May. See the city press release for details.
All structures, including play-sets and trampolines, constructed on new section Cascade Estates lots must be approved by the Architectural Control Committee. See the Residential Improvement Guidelines for criteria. Please submit detailed plans at least 30 days prior construction.
